Dry Thread Panels
The Dry Thread Line is based on a tiles technique left in the Iberian Peninsula by the Arabs during the Middle Ages, which we have adapted to contemporary reality. It consists in separating the glazed surfaces of various colours by using filaments of grease in between them. The grease acts as a repellent, not allowing the colours to mix during the 1030º fusion. This technique used on traditional tiles (azulejos), permits the accomplishment of enormous, strongly polychromed panels and murals with an extraordinary aesthetic effect.
